Hello! I'm Kerri.
World Traveller & Professional BloggerWho is the Tiny Adventurer?
My story is a little different than the typical travel blogger. I didn’t quit my 9 to 5 job to pursue my love of travel. Instead, I worked 60 hours a week and spent my time off studying for my Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. What for? To land my “dream job” where I would be working remote, traveling, and studying the luxury consumer.
I should probably also admit that my life comes with a lot of “perks”. My brother is a pilot for Delta Airlines, and I work for the largest hotel company in the world, Marriott International. Let’s just say that my parents have a very nice retirement with free flights and cheap hotels.
I’ve been with Marriott International for nearly 14 years, starting as a Front Desk Agent and Concierge, and gradually working my way up to my dream job in 2016 as a Quality Analyst. In this role, I analyzed luxury guest behavior and secret-shopped some of the most beautiful hotels in the US, making me a self-proclaimed luxury travel expert.
Like many, I faced career challenges during the pandemic but found my way back to Marriott in a similar role, albeit with less travel. I’m now in a position in “Social Listening,” focusing on customer feedback on social media and researching travel trends for the company, which I absolutely love. (Disclaimer: The posts on this site are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of Marriott International.)
Travel isn’t just my profession; it’s a passion. I love sharing tips and experiences with family and friends, and now with all of you. On my blog, you’ll discover my recommendations for the finest in luxury and adventure. I’m a discerning traveler, so when I recommend a hotel, restaurant, or experience, it truly is the best of the best. Join me – the adventure awaits!
